Abbas,
You lead an amazing team filled with talent and dedicated speakers. Thank you for raising the bar (literally) of our understanding of these important issues. This weekend we visited Disneyland. The grandchildren loved “It’s a Small World After All.” The ride premiered in 1963 during an era of fear and global threats punctuated by grave cultural misunderstandings along with real threats to peace and security. We need its message more than ever today that in the end, we are all human filled with the same hopes and aspirations for a brighter future for our children. This program advanced that cause. All the best, Thom

A heart felt congratulations to Abbas Hadjian for organizing such a well-attended, informative, educational, and dare I say, fun Cultural Competency Seminar. Included among the talented speakers and attendees were many current and former judicial officers, which evidences the importance of cultural issues in our practice and our lives. I thank everyone who helped organized and participated in the seminar, with special kudos to the culinary chefs! I look forward to next year’s seminar.
Sincerely,

Hello Abbas,
I hope all is well. I was reaching out to thank you for giving me the opportunity to attend the Cultural Competency Seminar! Words cannot begin to express the admiration I have for leaders, such as yourself, who denounce social and legal injustices. It is people like you who initiate global change!
As an 18-year-old sophomore in college, my aspiration of becoming an attorney was once again reassured. Prior to attending the Cultural Competency Seminar, I already knew that becoming a family law attorney would fulfill my long-term dream; but after being exposed to the various matters that overlapped with family law, I was even more enthused! Additionally, having exposure to the unresolved dilemmas within family law has expanded my awareness of other cultures. Not only did I gain valuable information, but I was also able to meet powerful people who are passionate advocates for justice. After walking out of the seminar, I was empowered and motivated to continue my own journey.
Once again, thank you for giving me this opportunity. I look forward to next year's seminar.
most sincerely,

Abbas- I just wanted to again thank you. It was the best seminar I think I have ever attended. Kudos to you and all the organizers and speakers. Of the course, the food was exquisite too!
I suppose I should have expected it would be excellent, as for years Joe has told me how dedicated, smart and hardworking you are. You will have a lot to live up to for next year, but I am sure you can do it.
Thanks again!

Abbas:
Thank you very much for another fabulous Seminar.
The subject matter was very relevant and the speakers were all great. I believe this event is most relevant and inspirational for all involved in family law to improve their understanding of the diversity and challenges we all face when striving for the fair and sensitive administration of justice.
This is my favorite event of the year.
Well done!!
